Episode Of Care

An Episode of Care is the container in which all care for a particular visit will occur. This 'guid' links the patient, the intake information, and all subsequent consults within this care experience.

Partners can update an episode with intake and preferred pharmacy information anytime before a visit starts

Retrieve the Episode of Care to obtain the documentation about the visit. Information could include diagnostic files such as lab results & images, prescription and pharmacy information, and the treatment plan.

• The treatment plan can either be a note with basic markdown from the clinician or it can be json with more specific fields & responses. The partner would collaborate with the clinical lead to determine what is needed in the treatment plan.
• Prescription (Rx) information includes, a unique prescription ID, the medication name, dosage, and quantity prescribed and the pharmacy the prescription was sent to. Prescriptions may also have a written and effective date. the effective day will be the written date unless moved to a later date.Patients cannot fill prescriptions until the effective date.
